During the past week two new forums running the free forum software Vanilla have been launched. The first being j0n’s Websites Forums. Websites Forums is an invite only forum based around all aspects of web development. So far things there are really looking great, for such a new forum there is quite abit of activity and some pretty interesting threads. Here’s j0n’s little intro to the forum:

This is a brand new, invite only webmaster forum. Rather than going the route of all the other web master communities trying to add so many features this forums aim is to stay as simple as possible.

Make sure you invite your friends to the forum but don’t just invite any old person. We want to keep the community as fresh and as fun as possible.

I have 20 invites to give out so if you want one just let me know in the comments and its yours.


The second new forum is Anthony’s Photoshop Veterans, a forum focusing on web and print media designers and as an added bonus Anthony has just announced a launch contest, with main prize being a hard copy of SitePoint.com’s The Principles of Beautiful Web Design.
